Character history: Ritsuka was born on December 21st. He lived a happy life up until the age of ten, when his brother Seimei died in a horrible accident, the details of which Ritsuka does not know. Ritsuka lost all of his memories prior to that event. Spending the next two years making "memories" so as never to lose his sense of self again, Ritsuka believes that his former self is his "real" self. His mother often abuses him in an effort to get the "real" Ritsuka back. He endures it, because he loves his mother.

One day, a man named Soubi came looking for Ritsuka. He said that he had once been Seimei's Fighter, and that Seimei had been his Sacrifice (a Fighter battles, a Sacrifices takes the damage). It was Seimei's will for Soubi to become Ritsuka's fighter upon his death. Being that Seimei's word was the ultimate law of Soubi's existance, Soubi obeyed. Soubi cares deeply for Ritsuka, something that Ritsuka has had a difficult time accepting, due to his experience with his mother and the effects of this lost memory.

Slowly but surely, Ritsuka began to come out of his shell, making friends and learning to trust Soubi. However, he still struggles with their growing bond, especially since Soubi seems to know the details of the mystery of Seimei's death - details which he keeps secret.

In order to solve this mystery, Ritsuka has Soubi take him to The Academy of the Seven Moons, where Soubi was trained. Here, he learned that his brother was still alive, though he still does not understand what his brother has been planning. It is around this time that Ritsuka gets transported to Glaxcin - before he knows the truth.

Character personality: Ritsuka is a bit of a troubled boy, being that he has been subject to memory loss and abuse. He has difficulty with trust and love, though deep down inside he is fiercely loyal, even to the point of sacrificing himself for others. His highly mature for his age and he stands strong when it comes to his convictions, but this is a downfall, as his dedication to his beliefs often causes him to act naively. He's intelligent and he loves to read.

Physical description: Ritsuka is of normal weight and stature befitting a twelve-year-old boy. His most distinguishing characteristics are his black ears and tail, which indicate his virginity and innocence.

Magical powers or special skills: He has no powers, but he does have a faint, growing psychological link with Soubi.
